#Elo Hell Customs?

Thinking about setting up custom games with specific Elo ranges, and letting people in lower Elo play in the customs.

For example:
You would have a team with 4 diamonds and 1 Bronze/Silver/gold/plat
Versus a Team with 5 diamonds, you would have the Silver/Gold/Plat make the objective calls etc or just play in SoloQ fashion with no comms
-After the first match you would swap the Bronze/Silver/Gold/Plat onto the other team to make it more fair etc (basically to check if its just a team diff)

I think this would be really fun and informative for select people and maybe show more about certain things.

Thoughts?

Honestly custom games is what’s gonna keep this game alive. Ten people signing up to commit 30+ minutes almost guaranteed it’s gonna be “decent” game.Aswell as people maybe being available for voice coms

Honestly just a customs server that actually acts like a ranked server would be huge. Sort people manually based off a soft reset version of their Omeda.city rank.

If you drop below 800 mmr you are removed from the server for 1 month. Upon re entree youd be reset to your soft reset mmr of whatever your rank is

I think this idea is great, I think an even greater idea is hells kitchen style punting someone into pubs like its the fucking badlands lmao

Yeah I mean... if you're not good enough to play ranked you probably shouldn't be allowed to continue ruining the experience of others

Go back to pubs, and reflect. Learn something. Come back. If you can't improve that's on you IMO

Yes. Also vod reviewing the game with the low MMR player so they will also actively learn and reflect on their mistakes.

If you launched the customs server properly it could happen. You'd have to do it as an event. And have a big platform push it. If pcc did this it would actually work. I doubt they'd be interested. But //shrug

I don’t think you need a big platform to push it lol all you need is 10 people right? Maybe a few bottle necks finding the exact rank you need

Ideally someone who has not had less then 60 or 70 ps or something idk how you’d weed out the trolls and people who get angry
