Muriel is a good support, you just don't build her as one as her entire kit is her support items she doesn't need more of it she has Movement Speed Buffs, Attack Speed Buffs, Shielding and an ult designed to save your allies from certain death if you are going to play her as support you have to build her for damage.

Consort Crest > Tranquility | Gives you a heal that you can use once you shield your allies after going in with your ult it grants a 400 HP heal with 10% damage mitigation not to mention 20 haste making this an essential item on Muriel if you plan to go damage on her which I think is the best way to play her as it rewards hyper aggressiveness and map presence.

Oathkeeper | Right off the bat this item gives her 60 Magic damage poke this isn't much until you build the rest of your kit, but it is useful to have as it grant you steady damage as you level.

Lifebinder | The Purpose of this item is team fights as it buff your abilities further, granting you some snowball potential and a decent amount of healing.

Prophecy | Muriel has the highest damage Magical Autos in the game clocking out at 200 damage and since this build will take advantage of haste this item becomes a very useful item by allowing her to help out in wave clears and fights.

Combustion | With her High Attack Speed and Decent Magical damage this item becomes a no-brainer as she will be able to proc it with regularity allowing her to melt a team with ease and letting your team get some easy kills.

Oblivion Crown | All of Muriel's Skill have a buff passive on them that scale off of her Magical Power the more she has, the better her Buffs are, I have been able to give my carry 70%+ Attack Speed with 100 Magic damage to his auto attacks nearly indefinitely due to its 3s cooldown. Not only that but in combination with Combustion this item can do a third of an enemy's health in damage, securing kills for you or your carry.

Magic Tonic | Duh.

Muriel rewards a hyper aggressive playstyle it makes no sense for her to take support items as this will only make her abilities and items weaker.

#

This Champion cannot be played like a traditional Support, the idea of her is that she is always an available gank/anti-gank hero she has perma map presence and can fly in to get kills at any time and the enemy cant do anything about it.

#

Just having Oblivion Crown or Combustion ready for her ult she can help you delete any hero that you are engaging with little to no risk to you or her.

Interesting build, I’m gonna try it, I don’t see why not combustion 1st to poke them early and get ahead

I've been doing this but subbing Lifebinder for Astral and it's really fun and quite effective. You're pretty much a superhero, and rather strong in fights.

i dont like this build

#

2 damage dealers lose to 1 damage dealer + 1 true support

#

playing adc w a support building this would be frustrating late game. if your adc dies because they get dogpiled and their adc survives, you lose the fight.

i dont think time warp start is the best option for muriel

no not to start for sure

#

great supplement to her core items though, for sure

#

i usually get timewarp as her last item after building shield items

#

timewarp is pretty good even first (after requiem band) because it has such a big CDR on your ult

unkempt roost
#

timewarp's chime doesnt apply to ulti

#

Hm let me test, I think based on the wording it does since it specifically says "all current" instead "basic ability" cds

#

Hm I guess you're right doesn't look like it does affect it

I did say I don't play her as a traditional support but a perma gank, my intention was to be an assist most of the time and a middle finger to gankers it has worked well for me but I did have to make some adjustments to the build to be more useful at the start I pick Oblivion Crown and Combustion up early and then follow up with Prophecy, Lifebinder, World Breaker for the most part it has worked out great, but this is definitely not a support build more of a gank build.

Just play this build offlane

worn axle
#

@hexed jacinth I dont like inting the only reason this works is because I have a 2 heroes in one lane.

#

if I played this offlane I would also lose out on a crest

#

and I dont wantt o lose tranquility and its 400 HP heal

Oblivion crown 2nd is basically never a good idea. First off, it's big draw is the +%MP passive that relies on other MP items already being built to make it really good. Second, it MUST be built in three 1200 gold increments at a time in the game when, particularly as a support, you should probably be backing with 500-1000 gold each time. So you're essentially missing out on a power boost every other back as you shift into the mid game.

#

Imo, Oblivion crown even feels early as a 3rd item, but not the worst. I feel the sweet spot is fourth, where you have space for both of the T2 component pieces before finishing it.

#

And you're getting the benefit of the MP from the 3 items already built

# hexed jacinth ?

It’s a fun build into the right matchups with the right team comp but it can be annoying for the adc
