you get the dash that resets on kill. gives way more mobility. (escape)
or chase in mid game when your ambush isnt on so fast cooldown
its kinda in between dps and bruiser. if you can keep on landing hits you wont be killed. also hitting many people with ult gives more sustain due to mutilator passive.
seems pretty good!
also now that ive had some more gametime. the pacifier is nice counter play against murdocks buckshot. the range is almost the same so you can jump on him then just pop pacifier when he uses buckshot and get back to dealing damage.
I will try this but it seems very squishy though. How do you survive with this build against heavy CC team comp?
kill them faster is what I've been doing 😛 Pretty weak early game so gotta play pretty safe till late game when this build really comes online
I tried this out. I will confirm you have to play like an assassin, rather than a bruiser. So you can't play like a front line.
can use cirt on magic power?
I don't think abilities crit. Just basic attacks.
Which ability do you upgrade first? Q or Right click ?
I upgrade Q first, personally. Helps you whack whack things faster in jungle clear.
Item mutilator is not active? Because all items I bought have white box and only this is not?.
@austere steeple i just wanna let you know, i love you. You changed the game for me. I went that build and literally just made them FF 15. like league of legends but better
Just played this build, insanely stupid. Agreed with @waxen grotto, definitely have to plan your ganks and plays in order to be as effective as possible.
Pacifier is really strong.
I don't like bonesaw I prefer citadel or ashbringer as 2nd item. But agreed pacifier is very nice on him good call
@limpid hinge Ashbringer is definitely the play, then into Tainted
Yeah I want to try mutilator though seems pretty strong too havent fiddled with it yet
What i have been doing is rushing lvl 6 and then started picking out the squishies on the map. Once you have bonesaw you can just w key everything that is even the slightest behind.
Just looked ashbringer up. Making adjustements to the build once i get back home in ~6 hours.
The build I have been running:
Marksman ->Pacifier
Vision: Sentry (whatever the deward is called)
1st Sky Splitter
2nd Ashbringer
3rd Mutilator
4th kingsbane or lightning hawk (if I need a bit more sustain then kingsbane 4th, if not then hawk 4th)
5th Kingsbane or lightning hawk (whichever I didn't buy at 5)
6th Citadel
Skills:
Q>RMB>E>Q>Q>R>RMB>RMB... Max Q and RMB both first. Q Better if you're farming more, RMB probably better if ganking more.
you have your E. you save it for the right time. IF you are facing a really heavy cc team and feel uncomfortable you can opt for a crest with cleanse active or build stonewall to get a "reset" (shockwave: Taking damage that would reduce you below 40% max health unleashes a shockwave, stunning all nearby enemies for 1 second) its not alot but should give you a chance to get out of cc chain (and have their cc on cooldown). but id rather go for just learning when to use the E. this build is ment to destroy out of position people not for going all in frontline so be mindfull of that and you golden.
Ps. sorry if im confusing im really good at answering questions that werent asked.
I just had a match with a khaimera that could 1 v 5 and it was insane all the cc in the world doesn't shut him down. Still lethal to even going with the thronmaily reflect damage evolution crest. Didn't get a chance to snapshot the build but he was a 1 man army we had to back door to win cause it took to much health and mana just to slay him and that was fighting him in our tower
so. augmentation>mutilator>kingsbane>ashbringer>salvation is even better.
above build was what one khaimera was using and he absolutely destroyed everyone 1v5. felt impossible to play against until we got enough antiheal on our team. after that he just melted because he wasnt thinking about his positioning at all
Yeah I was struggling to find the antiheal items in the shop cause there isn't a category and I couldn't remember what it looked like 🤣
I build Marksman too, with his Q you just get a free Legendary item ages ahead of anyone else. But aside from that, I build more bruiser than assassin
They all start with "Tainted".
so is this the build ur recommending over the one u originally posted all the way at the top?
Oh yes ive been playing around with that it has a bit more sustain in it. But not losing too much on damage. You can try them both too and see wich you like more both completely viable builds.
Can confirm this build is da bomb. My first item is Shortsword though then first back I sell it to build towards Augmentation. Need the damage to start but not enough to get Sabre. Do you have a better first item? Kingsbane is the key, to push through mid to late game when team fights happen more often, the shield and Khai's own regen both absorb quite a lot of the burst damage when you jump in and get targeted. Just need to keep hitting.
best build I have found - ash > mut > sky > king > (anything)
So far this is the best build I've found after much testing, personally anyways:
- Augmentation
- Mutilator
- Ashbringer
- Kingsbane
- Sky Splitter
It seems like everyone has generally the same set-up with minor changes based on preference, love to see it and get to brainstorm with everyone
See, I really don't live building Khai as an assassin. I don't think he scales well enough or has the burst for it. Sure, with a build line that, you can probably achieve it. But I think he's better buying as a bruiser, or even a light tank. His sustain already makes him difficult to handle and kill m couples with send cleanse and heal, bruiser builds make him able to do respectable damage but also survive for ungodly amounts of time. Sometimes all you need to do is survive long enough for the big guns to arrive.
Keep in mind he has so much utility. A super low CD slow and his AOE stun.
very true, for me the sky splitter is interchangeable but the others feel somewhat necessary, like ashbringer or mutilator
Last time I did Khai in jungle, I started with Mutilator, went into Tainted Guard, and then did...Bonesaw think? And then they surrendered because I was around 10-1-6. 😂
I'm the words of a Paragon player I used to pal around with, we was fraggin'.
I think Mutilator in general is a very good item for bruiser. Idk why but I've build on feng mao too and pretty good.
just did this and went 18-2-7
Yep. Bruiser Khai is just so hard to kill. Put on some Tenacity with Unbroken Will and basically negate the hard CC advantage.
my 2 cents on jungle khai is build bonesaw first item instead of overlord. I did some testing in practice mode and tried both items in games, the extra camp clear speed from overlord isnt enough of a difference to lose the gank potential from bonesaw. overlord aoe dmg doesnt help with ganks unless its inconsistent niche luck having support and adc on top of each other. even then...id rather have the slow and stacking attack speed that you instapump with q.
yeah overlord is awful on everyone but rampage
gimmy a full build i will tryy it out
just go like Augmentation kingsbane mutilator citadel salvation
maybe salvation first
then citadel
Marksmen Crest > Pacifier
augmentation
mutilator
kingsbane
ashbringer
salvation
i do this and almost never get to my 6th item
yeah thats similar to what I run, but if you want a more front-liney khai and less of a 1v1 specialist like that one is you need more health and mitigation. you could try your build but go ashbringer last and maybe salvation alone is enough
Will try this now 😄
Switch out Mutilator or bonesaw for Basilisk
did you bother looking at the dates? this is release day build guide. only reason it popped up is because i let the people who used this know that there is a new one to check out.
No I did not.
Normally I have my search to latest didnt realize till I typed it.
