Just watched the new guardians of the galaxy

Can say definitely if you are a bit squeamish be careful lol

Has lots of grotesque things, themes and scenes of animal abuse/testing, gore, and lots of weird fleshy objects

Would not reccomend for kids, regardless of rating

Like. Not even talking about “oh no tv violence” I’m talking straight up horribly abused animals with grotesque cyborg parts. It’s a pretty dark movie

Other than that had a really rushed beginning, but pretty good rest of the movie. Give it like a 7/10

i also just went and saw the new spiderman across the spiderverse in imax - well, not really; the speakers blew mid-movie and we all got refunded tickets BUT THE MOVIE WAS ACTUALLY GOATED, loved half the movie, i'll be going to see the other half sometime in the next few days, but its really really good with some (imo) heart-piercing stuff in the story and some really funny moments

i went and saw it with my girlfriend and that one scene at the end spoiler: || face peeling GENUINELY caught us so off guard, i was like "aint it pg13??????", but at the same time "this opens up so much and sets a bar for deadpool 3" || - youre completely right, 2 happy prequels, and then THAT was just so different pacing, but it was kinda nice as a trilogy ender; it had some happy moments too, funny ones; also had some more fleshed out cursing which also caught me off guard - it felt like a rage sequel tbh, but i kinda understand that in the shoes of star-lord and the whole gamora thing, but then its also mainly a rocket movie

Started watching the fallout show, finished episode 2. Very good so far. Some weird cgi moments but other than that, I'm enjoying it

Super reliant on past knowledge of the 3d games though. Which is cool for me but a shame for those who don't know the series

Whereas The Boys parallels US politics pretty well, Gen V does moreso sociopolitically || kids like gen z who want to do good but only know what their parents tell them or on a surface level. They don't know what they're fighting for ||
