Issue persistent across operating systems

So this used to work on this hardware but one day just stopped working, and now I'm on windows 10 from 11 and it's not working on clean install of TF2 with HUD and other parts of my autoexec working.

Also my custom intro is not playing despite being named valve.bik and placed in /tf/media

Its set to home and f5 because those are my mouse side g4 and g5

Ok made the change in the autoexec and manually but my autoexec was not and is not loading even when I execute it.

And also I'd like my custom intro to play

I put +exec autoexec.cfg in launch options to no avail

make sure to create an overrides folder in there and place your autoexec.cfg in it if you're using mastercomfig

idk if i would keep config.cfg in there because then it would override the config.cfg in your tf/cfg/ folder which auto-updates depending on what settings you place in there, but the tf/custom/cfg/config.cfg would not auto-update

alternatively you could also place the overrides folder in tf/cfg/ but up to you

then i'd make sure there's no other autoexec.cfg in your tf/cfg/ folder

it's possible your current one is getting overriden, so i'd check other custom folders as well

the thing i said with config.cfg still applies
