To my knowledge, mastercomfig does a number of things to unlock fx_drawimpactdebris, fx_drawimpactdust, and fx_drawmetalspark in the base game (through dxsupport_override.cfg) and that allows you to remove the wood chips and dust when shooting the floor
I am using mastercomfig in TF2C and these commands seem to not work there
I am willing to do the work to figure it out myself but I would like some good hypotheses as to why - perhaps that it's already implemented and the dxsupport_override.cfg already in mastercomfig is interfering in some way and I need to change the file inside of the mastercomfig vpk?
