there's no one optimal sensitivity
is default even good for body tracking
@timber iris has leveled up! (1 ➜ 2)
i mean as long as tf2's sensitivity is set under 10 (which i think above 10 can cause issues?) then input-wise it should be okay (ideally you would be primarily using your dpi to control how fast your movements are, having a combination of a high dpi and low in-game sensitivity)
wanting to try to avoid pixel skipping which increases as the in-game sensitivity is increased
outside of that, the effective sensitivity is up to your preference pretty much
u too good bro
Is 800< legitimately better? I feel like almost all of the comp players I know just use 800
i mean as long as the dpi is set in a way where your sensitivity isn't set too high it should be fine
if you are to adjust your sensitivity to be the same, then technically the higher dpi you have (up until the point when it starts extrapolating) the more accurate the input is
Alright, I might look into it then. Id guess the actual advantage is pretty negligible
yeah it's negligable
iirc i think higher dpi does actually have lower input latency, but beyond a certain point it's negligable
I think I'll just double my dpi, halve my in-game sens and call it a day. Might as well ig
Pretty sure the only reason for this is you have to move your mouse less far for it to register a count
so it will register a count sooner after you've initiated your movement
seems like a really miniscule difference
if you're comparing 800 to above then yeah it's miniscule
if you have lower than 800 dpi then it's larger
