#why does net_graph show so aggressive stuttering

CPU, GPU and Storage Device?
wdym by stutter, just the multicolored graph itself spiking? because that’s not necessarily due to stutter
yeah I kinda see the extrapolation happening on the bottom but it doesn't seem like its that much
@raven sandbtw ain't that just "internet stuff"?
https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/TF2_Network_Graph
Don't you have RivaTuner Statistics Server, MangoHUD, or even just FRAPS to check the framerate?
(I guess Steam's latest update added their own overlay stuff).
Oh it was the lerp i think
It's showing stutter because you're stuttering. idk what to say.
Are you on Ethernet?
nvrm its solved
so like i tried everything but sadly it keeps going fully red in net_graph 4 and sometimes rather or not will stutter and i see laggy players with low ping on their side soooo idk its not tf2 its not mastercomfig its not my ethernet maybe its unsolavble
unsolvable*
Does this happen on Valve servers?
Also wdym "fully red"? A screenshot or video would help.
oh yea well. valve servers and community
and then i get bit of a stutter at random points
it also might be i downloaded mastercomfig wrong. idk
is it network lag. or am i just imagining things
other games run fine but tf2 wont.
There's a little key to the left that labels the colors used in the graph
red does not mean 'bad', rather it's used to illustrate what portion of the incoming frame data is categorized as information relating to entities (apart from the local player or other players and rather than sounds or events or usermessage or entmessages or stringcmds or stringtables or voice data or 'other')
Ok fair ty
This graph is perfect
This only had 1 packet choked, but shouldn't have been that noticeable, if at all.
