#Xbox 360 like Graphics Settings?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
For a quick and dirty explanation:
The Xbox 360 graphics are a mix of Medium and High settings. The AA is the 360's in-built and the framerate should be capped at 30 (by what I remember on my own).
Things like the viewmodel's FOV and the FOV are the default values.
Gonna fish more data in a moment, but long story short, medium-high, 720p, default FOVs and either MSAAx2 or FXAA (if you know how to inject it).
Here's a quickie about the AA on 360:

[I don't think anyone really officially wrote down the graphical settings 1 to 1 between PS3/Xbox_360 and PC, but by running an older version of the PC game I can also see that something about lights and colors is different, can't really tell how exactly tho, I remember many years ago there has been an update which changed it.]
DirectX versions of the consoles are equivalent to 95.

For many other differences one can see the infamous Crowbcat video where you can see, where it was bugs, overlooked changes or intended changes, the other differences.
2007 version (still available on console with Orange Box) compared to the most recent Steam version (build 4016097). This video highlights visual details in texture, lighting, animation and physics. "getpos" and "setpos" commands were used to record everything at the exact same angle and location on both instances. You can easily find the 2007 v...
I don't think 98 actually has any visual differences (if it worked on PC to begin with), its just 95 but for x360
as for most of the other graphical differences, I think it just comes down to changes of the game's content (lighting, textures, etc.) rather than anything you can change
I didn't say that. Re-read what I actually wrote.
(Screenshot for posterity because people have an habit of lying over what I said and did. I don't believe in magic but it really DOES feel like I was born under a bad star).
