#whats the command for this?

choose something in the menu to be that keybinding (like "i", for example). then, in console, do bind i
that will tell you what i is bound to
disguiseteam
great idea
still what it is
whatever you want the world is your oyster
laws are simply a societal construct you can choose to not follow them
uhhuh then how come i dont
then use the reload button
they simply havent been enforced on you i guess
why would they remove it
im gonna have to do it though the options then
weird game
because using the - key as one of the functional buttons didnt make sense for them
July 2, 2015 Patch #1 (Gun Mettle Update)
Changing to a new disguise while already under a disguise takes 0.5 seconds instead of the normal disguise time of 2 seconds.
In the disguise menu, pressing 'reload' will also toggle the disguise team.
adding extra game cvars just for the weapon to function properly isnt the way
or its just that way cus game bad
it works fine in-game
what
they just coded it weirdly ig
it says command not found but it executes>
server-only command
lol
it only works when bound to a key
it does only work when bound to a key
did you test it
yes and it works fine
what the hellings
i actually did bind ], bind r is mapped to reload which also switches the team just fine
i will test
the disguiseteam command is hardcoded into the disguise kit ui code hence why it can't interface with the console at all
this file is one giant sin
literally just bind r to +reload
it works on r for me fine tho u r probably doing something wrong
no it just has to be exact
so only "+reload" or "disguiseteam" will work since that's the way it's coded
it checks if the string of the button you pressed is exactly equal to those 2 things
so stringing commands with ; wont work
it was probably just harder to code in a different way
spy was probably mostly coded while drunk to help with the pain so that's why it's coded this way
lel
lawl I guess they changed it somewhere
please read the entire convo
mr. the all knowing niterux had provided the answer
they only exist in the disguise kit hud code
