I’ve been trying to play tf2 on my steam deck and every time I try to play on a server it says I’m in secure mode I’ve tried moving the game to a different sd card, putting -secure and -insecure, verifying game files, setting my steam deck to beta, and nothing works

Well you have to use the steam runtime to run tf2 on linux now
But in the game properties you want to uncheck any compatibility stuff, I think it's a checkbox above the dropdown for proton version
