do i change in the bandwidth in the module to unlimited or some the max number ? (what the max number tho)

the game does not accept an infinite value, and values above 6mbps apparently cause issues in source

csgo lets you customize the bandwidth value from inside the game itself, and their max was 6mbps as well

the maximum on the website of 6mbps is the maximum the game supports

then it was 8

and now 6 for some reason

It's very unlikely you'd ever exceed 6Mbps anyway. That'd be receiving a packet that's => 11916 bytes in size, while most of the time they're usually around 700 - 1100 or something.

10 was an incorrect label because i forgot the units, 8 was the true max but caused issues, 6 is the modern max used in csgo and source 2

So uh what's the command and the max amount it can handle? I know ya say it caused issues. Just personally i never once noticed and i just wanna see if there is a difference.

You're not going to notice a difference. It'll seem the same as if it were still set to the game's default.

Do you guys actually think tf2 is receiving anywhere near these huge numbers you're throwing around?

I think you'd be hard pressed to find it hitting anywhere near 5 mbps even on a 100 player server or something
