about 2 months ago i decided to mess around with Nvidia control panel for unrelated reasons, but after that my fps in TF2 got REALLY bad. I went from a stable 100-200 fps to merely 40 fps. When i removwe the mastercomfig files, the game runs at 40 fps. But when i use the comfig for more fps (Low, and everything on the lowest settings like i always did, even after mastercomfigs' updates) its STILL at 40 fps, making the game unplayable. Not sure if its a Nvidia control panel related problem, a tf2 problem, or mastercomfig problem. Is there any way to fix this? Ihave a GeForce 615.
#mastercomfig doesnt affect fps.

I'd suggest going into your NVIDIA Control Panel and restoring all settings to defaults
its even worse now
try setting the nvidia settings to lower values then

Can you tell us your setup too?
Specs, pc age, config, special programs running in the background etc.
given the fact that it's a geforce 615 it's probably a decade-old laptop
maybe try DDUing and reinstalling the graphics drivers?
