i swear years ago when i'd boot up the game my cfg that clear'd and echod funny faces into console would be the only things that show up
Where is this autoexec of your located?
well you can implement a clear command or enabling/disabling console's output to get rid of the stuff somewhere in your startup script
tf/cfg/overrides folder > autoexec > inside the autoexec i have "exec edin.cfg" > edin.cfg is in tf/cfg
i also tried using vpks in custom instead of cfg's in the cfg folder
i have clear at the end of edin.cfg but regardless those lines come up
What do you have dynamic_background set to in modules?
Open TF2 and run this in console: dynamic_background_level
it's set to off
I just did some testing, and I'm not sure how to stop them from showing. It seems to be something that happens after your cfgs are run. So it's not as easy as running clear at the end.
it's alright ty for the help, on a side note can you go into a vpk and edit cfg files and then save it? when i edit the cfg's and click save it doesn't actaully save, do i have to remake the vpk?
if you have an answer or response please @ me i don't check this discord very often but i'll see it if you @ me
It's best to unpack, edit, then repack vpks.
But don't do this with mastercomfig.
All the customization gets done outside the vpk so that when you need to update the config, you just replace the vpk while your customizations remain.
