i mean not much of a reason to but all you have to do is to put it in this directory: \tf\cfg\custom\anyfoldernamehere\cfg\cfg files here

oh oops i put the cfg there on accident

rustic ivy
#

ok let me try that

rain plover
#

\tf\custom\anyfoldernamehere\cfg\cfg files here is what i meant

#

or well you may not be able to name the anyfoldernamehere folder anything--naming it a base game folder i.e. cfg may cause conflicts but i can't fully remember

rustic ivy
#

sure well

rain plover
#

you could try it if you want though

#

\custom\cfg\cfg\cfg files here

rustic ivy
#

tf\custom\my_custom_stuff\cfg\overrides/cfg files here is what i'm going to attempt

rain plover
#

yeah that should work

rustic ivy
# rain plover yeah that should work

] exec sniper 'overrides/game_overrides.cfg' not present; not executing. 'app/game_overrides.cfg' not present; not executing. 'app/game_overrides.cfg' not present; not executing. 'app/sniper.cfg' not present; not executing. 'app/sniper.cfg' not present; not executing.

#

this is what console said to me

#

i dont think it worked

rain plover
#

you'd have to do exec overrides/sniper

rustic ivy
#

oh right true

#

okay wait

rain plover
#

doing exec sniper would just run mastercomfig's base sniper.cfg file rather than your custom one

rustic ivy
#

mm

#

it works cheers

rain plover
#

yeah
