Hello! Currently i am playing TF2 Classic and using Mid-Low Mastercomfig with some customizations (which mastercomfig app allows me to use). But i have encountered an issue: every shot of syringe gun creates a burst of red X particles which disappear after 2 seconds or so. It blinds me and makes game nearly impossible to play with comfort. What can be the cause for such an issue?
Thank you in advance!
Here's a picture of how does it look. Took it from YouTube video of a person, who encountered the same problem.

that's the default missing particle, remove any mods you have enabled besides mastercomfig and verify the integrity of tf2 (right click Team Fortress 2 in steam library > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity)
its TF2C, no verify integrity
TF2C has it's own installer which can "heal" missing files. Already made that procedure, but nothing happened. I'll try once again. No mods installed, clear TF2C and mastercomfig. Thanks for the answer!
Entered in-game console and found something interesting
does this occur without mastercomfig installed?
and if it still does, try deleting cfg/config.cfg
No, haven't seen such an issue. Removed config.cfg before, nothing happened.

mastercomfig isn't made for tf2 classic, so I recommend just not using it. TF2C already has a pretty good default config
and the game itself is more optimized than tf2
I think you are right, maybe i'll write something in a cfg file to resemble mastercomfig settings. Thanks!
