#the config doesnt boost fps

Your system specs suck big time
You might want to use very-low. And make sure you use the low memory add-on
Your fps might just be so low it's hard to notice the difference.

youre kinda in some dire straits here with that core2 cpu
The config IS working. I think your expectations are just a bit high.
There is also a possibility to optimize the game through the "Process Lasso" or "Amd/Nividia/Intel" Panel, but I think it won't give much with these specs
And update drivers for CPU and GPU if they are not up to date
It worked for the last guy I helped and he also had bad old specs
And He also had 2 threads cpu
Well, 2 RAM for gaming is really bad. You should have at least 8 GB or even 16 GB of RAM
Actually screenshot tf/custom/
We might as well double check you've installed it correctly.
can you show this in terms of fps or explain more of what you mean so we're more clear about what the differences are?
Unrelated to your question but chances are you could go on ebay and buy a computer that will run tf2 10x faster for around $100-150
It may be something worth considering
how are you checking fps BTW?
and can you try mat_queue_mode 2 in console with the config?
In your modules.cfg script in "overrides" folder type console=on
You get 12,14 fps on very low preset??
Actually we can modify the low preset to get even more fps of this by not ruining the game with very low preset which disables a lot of important things
I can make on for you and lower the things you can and enable most important things to have in game
What you won't say
;D
F.e will you accept that water is black? or I can make it solid blue
Do you want to have sprays enabled?
ok
@shy granite graphics options are not going to help
can you please let me handle this
What about cpu optimizaton?
sure go ahead, sorry of me
@soft drift what are your launch options
@soft drift has leveled up! (13 ➜ 14)
Hey @elfin knoll (sorry for ping) if you are already here could you tell me if the "app" word in this execute command is the overrides folder where I have putted my classes configs?
I am on creating some subfolders in my overrides for my classes/subclasses scripts and I want to make sure how to correctly execute them in the presets
would be grateful for answer!
why not make a new thread, this is rude to the person who is asking for help here
do -threads 3 and then remove - high
Because you are already here and I just wanted a short answer like (yes/no). I guess that's not a huge problem. At least write then f.e I can help you later, Let me finish etc.
Calm down
class_config_demoman runs overrides/demoman.cfg, refer to the documentation which explains to use overrides/demoman.cfg. also i am not "already here", i am in different channels all the time so when i get a ping in this channel, it's confusing
Thx that's all I wanted. I don't disturb you anymore on this channel. gOod luck with helping @soft drift !
well you are pretty heavily limited from your cpu there
*well you are pretty
heavily limited from
your cpu there*
seems like most ideas are exhausted unless mcoms has more in mind
can you show the output of this command: differences
no, the latest version is always intended to be the best performance
sure! the more data the better
Learn how to benchmark TF2 and measure FPS scientifically.
can you run the differences command and show it here?
one time with comanglia and one time with mcomfig
no need to benchmark
just the differences command will put out a list of all the commands changed by each config, so we can get to the bottom of whatever is wrong
im suspecting i may have removed a command which may have been better for really old hardware
yeah! feel free
sorry ive also been busy
im getting some time this week to work on mastercomfig but there's other bugs to fix first then i will look at this too
