they force you to enter a building and go up floors to continue the story

the buildings you traverse also have prebuilt things like a populated night club? where you even see a guy resting his head on a womans lap and kiryu comments on it as he walks by

you also move an obstacle blocking a door for no reaosn

its more just a lot of demonstration of how seamlessly they can do pretty much everything in the game

no loading screens

no taking control from the player and making the playing field different, like how combat and free roam were like two seperate forms of control and gameplay before the dragon engine

u get weird prompts to look at things like in judgment

npcs can have conversations with kiryu without even like, dialogue skipping

kiryu just can walk around in circles while you both finish talking

After a misunderstanding involving the women Ichiban interacts with throughout the game, which resulted in him getting beaten up, Ryuji will tell him about how he experienced the greatest fight of his life the occured on the top of a construction site while he was wounded from a gun shot, and a supposed time bomb was about to go off as a way to make Ichiban feel better.

And the following game after that will be set in New Jersey. Ichiban will enter a Burger restaurant that also has karaoke machine somehow and meet the owner of the establishment, Kanda. After a misunderstanding involving the women Ichiban interacts with throughout the game, which resulted in him getting beaten up, Kanda will tell him how he got betrayed by his sworn brother but managed to survive by having his head surgically reattached to his body as a way to make Ichiban feel better.
