as you can see these sheens are alot smoother and cleaner than mine and they are the same weapons and same sheens

#

I was told to come and make a post here to ask for help , to change the way my sheens look and make them look like these other sheens

When installing, you're supposed to extract the tf folder to your Team Fortress 2 directory. That way it merges all the files into their correct locations automatically.

that's the item servers being down/unresponsive, not anything to do with mastercomfig

but it normally comes up with saying item servers are down , everyone else had loadouts and i had all my unusuals and gear i was using just when i switched my sniper rifle to something else it used the stock

well it doesn't always do that, sometimes it silently fails and occasionally select people have their loadouts

add the following to your modules.cfg:

but that's just what we've already done, i can't think of anything else that would make it more appealing

if you want you could try out the ultra preset (and temporarily renaming your modules.cfg to modules1.cfg to prevent settings from being lowered) to see if it looks good enough then

not all of the changes would be noticeable but it would look nicer

you do have some modules set that both increase/decrease some noticeable things so there may not have been a change

no i mean that you already have a modules.cfg which modifies some modules so ultra may not have made much of a difference due to that

if you rename your modules.cfg to something else to prevent it from being executed then it would be a fair comparison, but up to you

ok, so to compare here's what you would do:

rename your modules.cfg to modules1.cfg to prevent it from being executed
remove your medium-high preset .vpk file and replace it with the ultra one
launch your game and see if the ultra preset's visuals are any better

if they're still about the same then there's nothing else to do

#

to reset back to your main config you would do the opposite:

rename modules1.cfg back to modules.cfg
remove the ultra preset and replace it with the medium-high one
launch your game to apply the settings
