Hi everyone! So I don't really know which mastercomfig preset should I use for my PC components and which of them will give me highest fps possible with my PC components. Is this the fault of my PC components or I can't just configure my mastercomfig settings? Are there maybe also some commands that I should remove or add to my autoexec.cfg that can help me with mastercomfig settings? Currently I am using them Medium preset and I have like 150 fps when f.e in a room and 80 fps when in midfight with explotions, bullets etc. I also use some addons like: No tutorial and Disable Pyroland but I think it doesn't have anything to do with it at all, but I am not sure in that case. Also in other games like CS GO, Overwatch 2, Valorant I almost never notice fps drops like that. I also don't really wanna use some settings that will really sacrifice my game graphics like character models, animations etc. But if I have to, I have to do so then too.

Here are my PC components I use (Remind me if I forgot to mention about an important component which is necessary to solve the problem):

CPU - Amd Ryzen 3 1200
Graphics Card - Radeon RX 570 Series
RAM - 8GB
Monitor Refresh Rate - 75HZ

I will also upload my autoexec.cfg which I have in my "overrides" folder below

Hope someone could help me solve this forever

Thanks!

Just use low and dx8

Could potentially turn up some modules for free. Ones that only use gpu like textures and texture filtering

Could I get some more information, like f.e how to set it up correctly f.e on low mastercomfig preset and don't sacrifice my graphics so hard? Which settings should I change then? Give some more information please. I would be grateful

Download the low preset from the mastercomfig site and install it in your custom folder like normal (make sure you delete your old versions of mastercomfig if one already exists there
For the graphics settings, make a new cfg in the overrides folder named 'modules.cfg and go to the comfig docs and you can basically turn up any graphics settings with a moderate to low CPU impact with little to no hit to performance

Note that you probably won't be able to reach 144 fps stable, TF2 is very unoptimized so occasional drops to 70-80fps are expected
A while ago I had someone here in the help threads ask for help with reaching 150fps stable and they have a much better setup than the one you have listed here and they were only able to make the 110-130fps range
You might be able to overclock to get a better frame rate, ive had that Ryzen 3 before and it has a fair amount of overclocking headroom on it

Thanks fro for you advice, I will maybe think about overclocking my CPU but I have to make sure before if it will not really harm my PC then in other cases, like: overheat etc.

updating from zen to at least zen 2 would be preferable

#

ryzen 5 3600

#

overclocking on zen 1 is not good, ram speeds are limited and cpu is slow

#

or if you have only one ram stick, you can add another for dual channel for cheaper

@ivory surge Can you change your server nickname? The server's rules require a typable name.
