But if it's very low, you will have a hard time seeing things

Honestly i wouldn't go any lower than 640x400

What is your current preset, and are you using any custom modules? Also, what framerrate are you aiming for?

You should be the one deciding this. Not us. Resolution is entirely personal preference.

Put this in your launch options
-small -w 384 -h 216

This is the lowest resolution supported by TF2

You won't be able to see chat

#

Tune Team Fortress 2 and mastercomfig further with launch options.
