I normally play the ruy Lopez but I have been winning a lot of games using the nimzowitch -larsen attack.

stupid openings that my opponents don't know the lines of (but I do):
1.e4 Vienna and Ponziani
1.d4 London System
Pros: can get you a good position bc you confuse the opponent if they don't know the lines (tbh who knows ponziani lines?)
Cons: If they know the lines then its bad

the london system was the first opening I had ever learned so it would have to be that, but the scotch has been one I've grown to like a lot I love the idea of imbalances in a game especially when played well by both sides. although you have to have answers for a lot of different defenses when playing 1.e4 which is something im not as accustomed to
