nothing
Idk
good question
the urge to en passant
Knoleg
aint no knowledge other than "how to play chess" in chess
i like fruit
this is the answer
BANANA!
Type shyt
you dont learn anything except how to be good at chess

idk
🧐
It’s 6am alright
the literal entire purpose of chess is to overcome harder and harder opponents
I learn that you shouldn’t hang your queen ig
exactly
If that is life advice
Fr
And to di that, you quest for knowlage
I like that it gives me something to work towards
Yes but that’s not fun
Quest of restartation
The quest for a metaphysical pursuit of purity versus evil and the natural concept of life in death and such complications in nature
knowledge can only get you so far, skill and intuition also play a massive role
literally nothing:
knowledge is a generic term
^
Knowlage translate to skill but intution is something else
knowledge does not translate to skill
skill is your ability to apply your knowledge at a certain level of efficiency

Ye it does for chess surely
so yeah knowledge helps, but only to a certain extent
I see ur point now
you can’t always out-knowledge the opponent
Yes
You can technically

You just have to know the best move
true
skill is mainly how fast you can play the moves
real
how do i get myself the 1000+ role? I just hit a thousand elo
I can’t find it in the roles channel
thank you
pride
The:
I want to fk beat my opponent
Its just a board game 😭
The only one that makes sense is the will to overcome I guess
Not sure what knowledge anyones gaining by playing chess
Other than than, well, the knowledge of chess
how to efficiently rage at a board game
True
The actual question is interesting but the choices are all nonsensical
Cause I think chess embodies the competitive spirit most
And its appealing because it requires nothing but the brain, something everyone has regardless of age or physical abilities
It is a game, just a very accessible and popular one
imho i think it comes down as to whether you just see chess as a game, or something bigger.
for me despite not being a fantastic player, i attribute some personal enhancements to being a chess player, themes like pattern recognition, putting up plans, even categorizing stuff, some more i can't quite recall as of now.
chess sharpened my taste for seeing things through different lens, it all comes down to how much you can picture it abroad instead of being just a game. though this approach varies from person to person ofc. 🙂
elo
Where is "the urge to appear superior to others"
Btw why do I have the "just joined" role I've been here for like 6-7momths and even before that I was here for some years before taking a small break from the server
idk
I think it’s a delicate dance weaving across a sea of maneuvers like the Telchines of Rhodes whipping and whizzing past a sea of good and bad tactics until finally you reach spiritual divinity
...It fills boredom
less gooooooo
Lol
The will to overcome
And smash opponents hands on to the table
Is the correct answer

😄
i think the answer is
destroying your opponents
in life you have opponents, and while people want you to be win win, i prefer taking lal the win points for myself, no 50/50, i deserve 100 and they deserve none. soooo
nah
420th vote on knowledge :D
the correct answer is to treat everyone who doesnt play chess like a bozo
The real answer is that it teaches you respect
self hate
So real
It teaches you to feel smart after blundering your queen(i’m 148 elo)
Winning.
The urge to win.
and also the urge to sacrifice the entire game because en passant is on the board
Yeah!!!!
very real
yo dat shponglish, i dig
the rush of hanging my queen is the only real answer
The urge to promote and blunder
The urge to sacrifice a piece for no reason
The voices tell me to promote to a queen whenever I put my pawn at the end of the board.
Joy and harmony don’t exist in chess, only frustration and emotional damage.
The urge to SACRIFICE THE ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO⭕ 🇴 🅾️
😮 OOOK
U watch too much gotham chess...
