Why hasnt chess won game of the year like bruh its been here for a thousand years but cant win ONE award
also remove bishops
and add a battle pass
why is chess
Do you think that there will ever be a time when chess will have been "solved" by a human?
Do you think it will ever be solved by a computer then?
Thats what I was wondering, where if played perfectly, you can at worst draw
Checkers is far less complex than chess and it is not "solved" either
Who decided that the world needed Chess.com and Where did you get the money to start it?
simple question but really, why did you think YOU needed to create a chess website?
Why you decided to go with the name chess.com, why not PlayChess.com or take another name?
Why did you get rid of Live Chess? Can we find higher rated players to challenge outside of tournaments?
All jokes aside, the arena idea sounds great.
Without the cheating and fair play violations. I like the random rating part.
How many people would actually use it though
I think that a lot of people would be interested in playing against different rating brackets. Before Live Chess was removed, I challenged the best players I could find. CMs, GMs, IMs. Everybody above 2,000.
I actually have a win against a GM in bullet. He never moved, so it may not count. Still technically counts.
is bishop & pawn vs king a draw?
they say chess played perfectly is a draw but I've never seen engines draw by insufficient material
is it possible for two engines to draw in that way?
What features are you hoping to bring to the platform in the future?
thats an interesting question
Was Chess.com, upon the time of releasing live chess, the first to introduce online chess? What were its visions for the future by creating such a feature with live chess and echess

it is a Brilliancy

Will there be a possibility to train against a bot certain opening variants one day ? (We are limited to 31 different openings right now but we can only choose the bot difficulty, not the variant it'll play)
Where whould you see this company in the future like what is your gole for the future of this company?
Who is the founder of chess.com and what motivated him/her to start a website that teach about playing chess?
Why did you want to make a chess website?
Checkers has been solved since 90s
Chess.com isn’t the only website about chess but it has become the most popular one. What is the secret behind this?
Will there be a duck chess tournament with a cash prize?
will there be any new feature like limiting ourselves from playing limited games of a particular time format, (limit would be setup by ourself to not get addicted to bullet and not ruin our classical game)
eg only 1 bullet game in a day
Why is en passant called en passant?
Will anymore sports superstars play together in a chess match like Gordon Hayward is playing, to popularize the game of chess even more
will Danny ever become a GM? though Hess would still be a better commentator :'P
will Levy ever become a GM?
He retired
How to win with just king and root?
With the internet and digital gaming growing beyond all imagination, how has chess.com remained relevant and forward thinking in its design and implementation?
who was the first game of chess played on chess.com played between? not testing, a public game, and what was the outcome?
How much developer staff is involved in chesscom. What technologies have been used to create the site. Are there plans in the future to rewrite it to make it better?
How do you prevent cheaters from only cheating in one game, and is there a level of understanding beyond what the computer can provide when it comes to banning cheaters? (I know this wasn’t that well worded) Also, have you ever encountered an anomaly of a game that was reported but was proven not a cheater.
Was there any advertising for the site upon launch?
Will I become a IM?
Elephants are rooks 😂😂
Why am i so sad and lonely
Elephants are bishops
there is in daily chess
is it possible to beat the max level of stockfish (3200)?
i think he means a person
one thing I have noticed is that I can beat bots with ease like 600 points above me
How does the knight move?
How did you programme en passant?
its not that hard to program
The video is out so this is irrelevant now
L movement for an L piece
yes
Will you add a chess battle pass
why we can set the limit ourselves and not get addicted
i mean why not
what are you saying?
sorry
bruh while playing bullet, we dont know how fast the time goes on and .. i cant say what i want to
no what
you are not just getting my idea
i mean whats wrong with it
ok
Unless chess.con says you need premium to play more than 100 games a day
💀
It’s 12am for me so no
I’m just scrolling random stuff
Close
I live in Singapore
Why is vertical castling not allowed
it is allowed
As long as e8=R is played and the king has not been moved, and if there is no piece between the king and the rook with which castling is, the king is transferred from its original square two squares towards the rook on its original square, then that rook is transferred to the square the king has just crossed
and there has to be no piece attacking the way
lol
bruh no perms but k
It was banned?
It ate Magnus
Only recently
state of chess is done, they will not prolly accept ur questions
lel I don't mind
will still ask and am interested for an answer
there's been a lot of factors
How do you program the chess bots to accurately match their playstyle?
use a weaker engine
or just pick random \
I think he means how the different bots tend to play more aggressively, defensively, solidly, etc.
In which case they probably use information about the stage of the game and the tactics of moves to decide what to play
artificial intelligence
bishops for checkmate
Why do some games start with 0.2, or 0.4 on eval bar if it will end in a draw if played perfectly
I guess
How do they determine if a position is like +70 or an M
Chess will never be solved by humans though
Even endgame aren't totally solved
Oh
It’s either 0 or M 🤣
But it’s theoretically for humans to play it that way
Not even computers can do it maybe Stockfish 150
how to achieve 2800 in chess
I want to know why people keep asking questions even though the video already came out
fr 😭
