Okay so you and the other person brought up this point that using ChatGPT is fine for checking chess rules

So I did a test by asking ChatGPT a question I already know the answer to. (If youre not in the USA, pretty much the rule is if the time control has less than a 30 second delay, that means when either you or your opponent has less than 5 minutes, either one of us can choose to stop notating.

But the answer ChatGPT gives is completely wrong and also self contradicts itself in the next sentence

Here's a rly clear example. So I asked ChatGPT this question, but notice how I accidentally said rotating instead of "notating" (caused by autocorrect)

The answer it gives is "no, you still have to keep notating your moves, even if your time is below 5 minutes"

But when I corrected it, it gives the opposite answer "you no longer have to keep notating if your time is below 5 minutes"

So I want you to notice my biggest point and why I have a problem with using ChatGPT to answer any of my questions related to chess

Simply changing one single letter in your question can drastically change the answer ChatGPT gives you. This would not happen if asking a human @marsh stratus
