A pragmatic way to stay focused would probably be to implement a formula to find your next moves; for example think about your opponents ideas, then taking that into account consider your ideas and the best move to act on those ideas, then think about your opponents possible responses to the move you just thought of.
By doing that your brain will be too preoccupied in thought to get distracted

it says i have 51.4% average accuracy which is untrue
its also got my win rates for openings wrong which i can confirm from openingtree

I heard of one experiment where they had a tv displaying something specific for someone to recall when they woke up from an out of body experience. It seems a lot difficult to test NDE’s as opposed to OBE’s for obvious reasons. And the scientific understanding of what exactly is happening during these times is still mysterious. Oxygen deprivation is a theory/assumption. I’d argue that philosophy would still be required.

This is the case (sometimes) but people have also recounted hugely differing NDE’s. Some people who aren’t religious have had religious ones. It’s really different for everybody but some phenomena line up (thinking running to the light at the end of a dark tunnel). Which is where the theories and assumptions are usually derived from.

The argument for your case made by the UCR philosopher refers to the brain having hallucinations within a set time. The brain can give hallucinations which violate or distort time perception. Allowing for an individual in the seconds they’re regaining conscious to (in theory) experience a much longer NDE. This can be in tune with what a person believes, or against what a persons believes.

I’m religious and I’ve personally never hallucinated Jesus lol, but I think this sort of shows that the cultural aspect is less of an effect more than whatever your subconscious happened to have taken in at whatever point of your life. Since the only way for your subconscious to have dreams or hallucinations is to have had some sort of experience to base it off of. I personally believe in experience being dependent on chaos theory, that being that the smallest input leads to hugely different outputs within individuals (which only becomes more chaotic as more experience is considered).

However that cannot be the case for all experiences through OBE’s and NDE’s since even the UCR philosopher (I’m sorry I cannot recall his name I think it was Fisher tho) admitted, he said that people have had profound spiritual awakenings through OBE’s. This in no way shows that this is conclusive evidence for OBE’s supporting a supernatural existence. However it does show the power of experience and perception for an individual. As well as the power of our subconscious mind to take in an astounding amount of environmental factors. Since we can likely conclude that there are probably stories of very atheistic individuals experiencing an OBE and having some sort of spiritual awakening.

That is true but in order for that to be understood you’d need philosophy/logic to derive that the brain is unreliable for giving an objective account of experience, and therefore someone’s experience cannot be used to conclusively prove an NDE as being real (in the reality sense) despite it being real (in the experience sense)
