if I had known about this, I would have played more classical earlier to be even better than I am today at chess
I can play bullet but mostly on my phone
there are many times for classical, one is 90 mins with 30 sec increment
but some less extreme ones are nice
like 30 mins 10 sec increment

90 mins with 30 sec increment seems diabolical
but in high elo chess its not as much
in world cup tournament its different
its like 90 mins with 30 sec increment for first 40 moves, then 30 mins added after 40 moves (with 30 sec increment still)
because of the high stakes and extreme elo games and Fide obviously wants the best chess player to win and not the one who just didnt have enough time to think

all GMs at the top level can use their time to calculate many variations all the way to the end of the game
