DO NOT USE AI. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. i dont care if you need to chatgpt in your homework, or whatever else youre doing with it, ai is quickly becoming an extinction level threat to humans on par with the nuclear bomb.
case studies giving very high level ai access to a hypothetical companies email system where it learned the employee that was going to shut it down soon was having an affair, and then threatened to blackmail the employee if he were to continue with it. another one proved that murder isnt out of the question when a hypothetical person went into a server room to shut the ai down, and then the oxygen gave out and the employee was trapped in the room. the ai could have called for help, but didnt, as it was going to be shut down if it did. the ai literally was willing to commit murder to stay running.
ai companies are relying on worse ai's to snitch on the bigger ai's that are trying to perform malicious acts and scheme, which genuinely will be the end of humanity if it fails. were in a period where ai is smart enough to scheme but dumb enough to not get away with it, but very soon we are gonna be in a period where its smart enough to scheme AND get away with it.
this isnt a drill or a joking message or anything. this is genuinely really important.
there are currently no bans being worked on for superintelligence because most politicians dont actually know how dangerous ai is. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE share this message with as many people as you can and have them go to the link https://campaign.controlai.com/take-action to help politicians learn about the dangers of ai and work on a ban for superintelligence.
