ok. so this is how the butterfly effect works as an example.

you time travelled to the past, on a remote island, thinking you would not meet anyone to affect the timeline and events. but in reality, even a simple action such as walking on the shore will disturb some fish, and that fish will probably swam away and escaped a shark trying to ambush it nearby, making it hungry and looked for schools of fish in the ocean.
