guancho, always try to be present. think about the now, not "what could be" or "what will happen next". my therapist told me that whenever i overthink, i have to write down and answer these questions:

List down your thoughts (journaling)

1. Is what im thinking or worrying true? (for example, am i going to fail my exam, is it true tho?)
2. Is there evidence about my thought (think about the present)
3. Shift to positive thought
4. Is this negative thought helping me? (distract myself, go out)

but in summary, whenever i catch myself worrying, i always tell myself, "this is not happening right now. i dont have to worry about it. it is not helping me"
