I did try to buy sth from chesscom.shop - and instead of payment gateway poping up after the trade is confirmed, where I could fill my payment data directly into the gateway (which is the secure way to do it), the website asked me for payment credentials beforehand - which means shall the website be under attack, my data might get compromised, which is inacceptable to me.

this leaves me with using paypal or other services with onetime payment cards, which is always a hassle to transfer the money beforehand somewhere else from my account... I probably will just skip the trade in its entirety instead.
please just reffer this feedback to someone capable of considering adjusting the website to fulfill current security standards (yeah I know I am from EU and its usually less issued in the USA but that doesnt mean its less important, the opposite)
