For physical feeling we can just measure the cortisol levels + Electrocardiography. If im not mistaken the effects of foam rolling on cortisol are only short term effects for a few minutes then they will spike up again after you’re done with foam rolling that’s why it is negligible. To have significant positive effect on your mental health we need to lower the cortisol levels during the whole day not just for a few minutes.
