Because there are different opinions. I would suggest sticking to E4 instead of D4 at this point in time because it teaches you how to play in more tactical games and your moves have a bigger importance than in the London because your opponent can punish you if you don't focus so you learn more.

And some other people say it's not good for beginners, because it's a hypermodern opening that gives up the center, and you need to know how to fight back for it which is not easy for beginners.
And both are technically correct. And similar could be said for any opening, so just choose the one that you like
