Ask your self how can I active my piece more? What opponent doing? Is your or your Opponent piece hanging? If yes is it safe to take? Is it safe to move? And more! Look for check, captures and attack.

Secondly, who cares if you're down 5 points of material? Like i said before, if you start with this position in 100 against another 600 and you try your best, there is ABSOLUTELY ZERO chance that you score less than 25/100

You're 500, it is so easy to accidentally blunder a rook. In these games where you resigned, you blundered a rook in the first 15 moves. Why do you expect that your opponents won't make an equally bad mistake? There's always a chance to come back
