For the past 3 years I’ve been playing one 15|10 game a day on chess.com and doing puzzles on lichess. However, my rapid rating has only improved from 300 to 450 in that time. Due to my practice with puzzles I can instantly recognize hanging pieces, forks, pins, skewers, x-rays, and any Mate in 1, 2, 3, and 4. I have also read Bobby Fischer’s beginner chess book as well as watched large amounts of agadmator and GothamChess videos on YouTube, so I know beginner and intermediate tactics by heart. I have not improved at all in the past 6 months and I’m wondering what I can do better.
