Performance ratings on cc are a scam.

Let me tell you how I know for sure cc is using performance ratings as a scam. Once on gc this 400 sent this game where it gave them a perf of 2500 they sent the game. I was gonna just quickly click through it to confirm my suspicion that their opponent just blundered which was true but from my end it said their perf was 1100. So they literally were generous by 1400 points to someone low rated. That's so deceitful. Basically since they were 400 they generously raised it by 1400 points compared to what it says from my perspective on a 2100+ account. Just shows they set up this algorithm to lie to people as a marketing scheme I'm not a fan of this deceptive way of marketing cause it hurts people's chess cause they get the wrong picture of stuff and also value things they shouldn't value as a result.

The positions get very interesting it's about the fight for control over the center and the pressure you can put on blacks center. To just think "you move your bishop out just to move it back" you're only thinking about the surface of the opening if you learn it way more in depth and start to understand a lot better there's way more to it than that

The way brilliant moves works is that it calls moves that are a sacrifice that isn't bad brilliant even though in reality they often are like 2 or 3 move calcutions that aren't hard to find in reality. The fact to the matter is some sacrifices that work aren't that impressive to find and some good moves that aren't sacrifices are impressive to find but cc doesn't represent that properly at all.

not really unless you trade pawns in which case your bishop is in the way for the better one, cuz he has a rook and knight protecting his pawn and a knight and a pawn protecting his farther pawn, and if you trade pawns and play like pawn to c3 thats more ugly for you than it is for him, and if you take his he takes back and now his rook has the open file...
