I've as of late been perhaps finding a way to improve on my theory in the Caro-Kann and I've seen that in the advance variations (explicitly the Tal and Bronstein varieties), when white attempts to harrass the bishop with h4, dark answers with h5. Anyway in the classical variation black plays h6 all things considered. I believe this is on the grounds that h5 could surrender the g5 square for white to put a knight on, why this isn't as huge of a worry in the advance variations? What's more, why permitting white to acquire space with h5 and in the end g4 is best in the classical? I know h6 decreases initiative and stops g5 but is that all?
