Getting back into Chess after 1.5 years, what should I do?

I started playing Chess in Janurary of 2021, and I was addicted. I would be playing 40 online chess games a day, didn't get any exercise, ate unhealthy, etc. But I did become really good, reaching around 1700-1800 elo on Chess.com back then, and I would say with some fine tuning I could have become really advanced. I stopped grinding in around August 2021, and I have barely played online chess since. I did become much healthier and fitter, but man I suck at chess now.

Is all that chess knowledge, addiction, and love for the game still there for me? If I start playing online again, how quickly will I gain back my affinity and skill for the game? I'm going into my junior year of high school, and I'm searching for extracurriculars or just activities for college in general. Ideally, I would want to win competitions, tournaments, or anything of that sort. I know for any activity, I should be passionate about it. Looking back on everything I've done, Chess is really the only thing I was deadset passionate about. Man, I wanted to be a grandmaster back then.
So, it only makes sense for me to pursue chess, because I had a genuine passion about it, and I really believe that I could probably win some big-shot local tournaments with how good I was back then.
What do you guys think? And how should I go about getting back my skill for the game? I'm pretty bad right now.
