-2x² + 11x + 4
-2x² + 11x + 4 = 0
D= (-11)² - 4 × 2 × 4 = √89 ≈ 9.4
X1,2 = 11 ± 9.4 / 2 × -2
X1 = - 5.4
X2 = -6,4

If you're seeking a job with a more comfortable schedule, there are a few steps you can take to increase your chances of finding one. Here are some suggestions:
Identify your priorities: Determine what you mean by a "comfortable" schedule. Do you prefer regular hours, flexible working arrangements, or specific shifts? Clarifying your preferences will help you focus your job search.
Research industries and roles: Look for industries and specific job roles known for offering more flexible or comfortable schedules. Some sectors, like healthcare or customer service, may have varying shifts, while others, like remote work or freelancing, offer more flexibility.
Networking: Leverage your network to explore potential job opportunities. Let friends, family, and professional contacts know about your search for a job with a more comfortable schedule. They may be aware of openings or have connections that can assist you.
Job search platforms: Utilize job search websites, professional networking platforms, and online job boards to find positions that align with your preferences. Many platforms allow you to filter job postings based on desired working hours or flexibility.
Company research: Research companies known for promoting work-life balance and offering flexible schedules. Look for organizations that prioritize employee well-being and have policies in place to accommodate different scheduling needs.
Remember, finding a job with a more comfortable schedule may require some time and effort. Be patient, persistent, and proactive in your search. Assess each opportunity carefully to ensure it aligns with your goals and requirements for a better work-life balance.
That’s nice it’s a pretty good habit
You're welcome! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Good luck with your job search, and I hope you find a position with a schedule that suits your needs.

Based on the information you provided, it seems like you and someone else were involved in a game or activity where you scored around 1400, while the other person scored around 1100. However, without additional context, it is challenging to determine what type of game or activity you are referring to or what the specific scoring system represents.
If you can provide more details about the game or activity, I would be happy to try to provide a more tailored response or offer assistance related to that specific context.
1900 rated but beat 2100 rated
Congratulations on beating a player with a higher rating in chess! Rating systems in chess, such as the Elo rating system, provide a general measure of a player's skill level based on their performance in previous games. When you defeat a player with a higher rating, it often indicates that you performed exceptionally well in that particular game.
It's important to remember that ratings are not absolute indicators of skill, and individual games can deviate from expected outcomes. Variations in performance, preparation, strategy, and the specific circumstances of a game can all contribute to different results.
Be proud of your accomplishment and take it as a testament to your own skills and abilities. Chess is a complex and dynamic game, and every victory against a higher-rated player signifies growth and progress in your own chess journey.
Keep playing, learning, and challenging yourself to further improve your skills. Each game, regardless of the opponent's rating, offers an opportunity for growth and enjoyment in the world of chess.

I am writing this email to address a critical matter that demands your immediate attention. It has come to my attention that your behavior within our chess club has been consistently rude and disrespectful towards fellow members. Such conduct is entirely unacceptable and will not be tolerated any longer.
Our chess club is founded on the principles of respect, sportsmanship, and a supportive environment for all participants. Regrettably, your actions have created a toxic atmosphere that undermines these core values and inhibits the enjoyment and growth of our members.
I must emphasize the urgency and seriousness of this situation. It is imperative that you reflect upon your behavior immediately and make significant changes. Disrespecting fellow members, whether during matches or in any other club-related interaction, is wholly unacceptable.
This email serves as a final warning regarding your conduct. If there are any further instances of rudeness or disrespect, it will result in your immediate expulsion from the chess club. We cannot allow the negative impact of your actions to persist, as it compromises the well-being and enthusiasm of our valued members.
Sadly cold showers it’s not a habit on me, my “peak” is like 5 days but I do it like twice a week
Not sure if doing it twice a week can be count as habit
Thank you for your reply. While you claim not to have spoken in the chess club, we have received multiple reports from fellow members regarding your rude and disrespectful behavior. We take these reports seriously and are committed to maintaining a positive and respectful environment for all participants. We strongly urge you to reflect on your actions and make the necessary changes to ensure a harmonious club experience. Failure to address these concerns may result in further consequences, including potential removal from the chess club.
Ye ig
Listen here, see? Using "lmao" as a response to someone being sincere, it's downright disrespectful, see? It's like spitting in their face, a real slap in the kisser, ya dig? It shows a lack of regard for their feelings, like you're making a mockery of 'em, see? So cut it out, wise guy, and show some respect, capiche?
Don’t take everything too personal, I say it as a tip
And your on discord
Avast ye matey! I be kindly askin' ye to cease with the constant "lmao" when others be speakin' from the heart, as it be a sign o' disrespect. Show some buccaneer manners and honor their sincerity, for jestin' when sincerity be present tarnishes the spirit o' camaraderie. Be mindful, lest ye be walkin' the plank o' ill-mannered scallywags.

Listen up, pal. I get that you're thinking of takin' a two-month break from chess, but let me level with ya: it ain't about gettin' brain disorders, it's about findin' a balance. Chess is a mental challenge, sure, but givin' yourself a breather now and then ain't gonna hurt ya. Just remember, when you come back, you'll be refreshed and ready to make your moves like a boss.

I like to creep around my home and act like a goblin
I don’t know why but I just enjoy doing this. Maybe it’s my way of dealing with stress or something but I just do it about once every week. Generally I’ll carry around a sack and creep around in a sort of crouch-walking position making goblin noises, then I’ll walk around my house and pick up various different “trinkets” and put them in my bag while saying stuff like “I’ll be having that” and laughing maniacally in my goblin voice (“trinkets” can include anything from shit I find on the ground to cutlery or other utensils). The other day I was talking with my neighbours and they mentioned hearing weird noises like what I wrote about and I was just internally screaming the entire conversation. I’m 99% sure they don’t know it’s me but god that 1% chance is seriously weighing on my mind.

"As a general range, considering various factors, you could aim to play chess for a minimum of 3-5 hours per week for consistent practice and improvement. This can include a combination of playing games, analyzing them, studying chess materials, and solving puzzles.
Regarding the maximum, it's important to strike a balance that suits your lifestyle and goals. Playing chess for several hours per day can be engaging and enjoyable for some individuals, especially if they are highly dedicated or participating in tournaments. However, it's crucial to ensure you have time for other essential aspects of life, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and prevent burnout. As a guideline, a maximum of 15-20 hours per week could be considered for intense chess training and practice.
Remember that these are approximate ranges and should be adjusted based on your personal circumstances and preferences. It's essential to find a balance that allows you to enjoy chess, make progress, and maintain a well-rounded lifestyle."

Certainly! Here are some basic principles and strategies to keep in mind when playing chess:
Control the center: Establishing control over the central squares (d4, d5, e4, e5) is important. It provides a strong position for your pieces and allows for greater mobility and flexibility in your moves.
Develop your pieces: Aim to develop your pieces (knights, bishops, rooks) to active and harmonious squares. Develop them towards the center, following the principle of "Knights before Bishops" and "Rooks on open files or semi-open files."
King safety: Castle early to protect your king and improve its safety. Generally, it is recommended to castle kingside (O-O) in the opening, but evaluate the position and choose the appropriate side to castle based on the specific circumstances.
Pawn structure: Be mindful of your pawn structure. Avoid creating isolated pawns (pawns without adjacent pawns), doubled pawns (two pawns on the same file), or backward pawns (pawns that can't be easily defended by other pawns).
https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/ab5c6387-1c64-11ee-90b8-97ef8a01000f?tab=analysis MY BEST CHESS GAME EVER
Lol
Piece activity: Strive to keep your pieces active and coordinated. Coordinate your rooks, aim for open files, connect your rooks, and ensure your pieces work together harmoniously to put pressure on your opponent's position.
Tactical awareness: Be alert to tactical opportunities. Look for forks, pins, skewers, discovered attacks, and other tactical motifs. Regularly practice solving tactical puzzles to improve your tactical vision.
Planning: Develop a plan based on the position. Consider the strengths and weaknesses of your position and your opponent's position. Plan your moves accordingly, aiming to exploit weaknesses and capitalize on your advantages.
Endgame: Learn basic endgame principles and techniques. Studying endgames will help you navigate these final stages of the game with more confidence and increase your chances of success.
Remember, these are just some fundamental principles, and there is much more to explore and learn in chess strategy. Regular practice, analyzing your games, and studying chess resources such as books, online tutorials, and videos will contribute to your growth as a chess player. Enjoy the game and have fun while exploring the strategic intricacies of chess!

I STILL PLAYED GOOD MOVES

Ok
Ok
brilliants move are based on your elo, if you're really low rating then "easy" moves can be considered brilliants
It has to do with gene expression and environment during childhood/adolescence.
nice pop off, intervention solid sniper, but i prefer aws
Rude.
mannnnn
I'll try to find it. You have told me many interesting things and I always enjoy meeting young people. You remind me of myself when I was young. You've given me a lot to think about. I wish you continued success, but I think in future you will find new musical ideas harder to come by. But this isn't all bad! I find people listen now with more care, not like before- you have to work harder for your success. On the other hand, you may sometimes have to think outside the box and try new things, as we have just been discussing.
anyone wants to talk tommorow bc i need to charge my 30000 elo mic ?
Anyone 1v1 me a chess noob
I understand that you believe someone else is behaving rudely. It's important to address such concerns in a respectful and constructive manner. Open communication can help clarify misunderstandings and foster a more positive environment. I encourage you to express your perspective calmly and consider engaging in a conversation to resolve the issue.
just watch the game

Certainly! I'm here to help and chat about chess or any other topic you're interested in. Feel free to reach out whenever you're available, and we can continue our conversation.
And the most ironic thing is that he created these imperfect beings in the first place, and then he kills millions of them because they're imperfect.
@grim edge how do i change my ip address
CMON
I forgot mitzu existed
The statement you mentioned reflects a perspective that is critical of a belief in a deity who created imperfect beings and subsequently punishes or destroys them for their imperfections. However, it's important to note that different religious and philosophical perspectives offer diverse interpretations of the nature of God and the reasons behind human imperfection and suffering.
In many religious traditions, the concept of God creating imperfect beings is not viewed as a flaw in the divine plan but rather as part of a larger, mysterious design. Imperfections are often seen as a consequence of human free will or as a test for personal growth and spiritual development. Different faiths have various explanations and teachings on this topic, and interpretations may vary among individuals.
Ultimately, discussions about the nature of God, human imperfection, and suffering delve into complex theological and philosophical debates that have been ongoing for centuries. It's important to approach these topics with respect for diverse beliefs and understandings.

Me?
No..
No.
No.
@grim edge why I can't connect?
U played black? Wow

how do you get a rating role
I agree, this is a very complex question and there are endless philosophies and beliefs on this topic. My perspective on it has nothing to do with respect or disrespect for any other belief. I can only offer my point of view, which is based on my own experience, just as everyone else can offer theirs. The best thing is to respect each other's opinions on this complex topic.

Pings are a measure of the response time between your device and a server. The number of pings you have can vary depending on the specific context or application. It's possible that the number of pings you were expecting (40k) was based on a different reference or measurement. If you have concerns about the number of pings or any related technical issues, it may be best to consult with a network or technical specialist who can provide more specific assistance.

10 second chess shouldn't exist.
It shouldn't
ITS THE BEST
It's almost chess, but not really
How
It's not real chess.
I'd still consider 15+ second chess chess
@spark apex gib me your mind
But 10 second is more like a fps game
Yeah.
more like speed and mouse sensitivity
Teach me bro lmooo
depends on your skill level tbh, only at levels 2000+ does accuracy in 15 second or 30 sec really matter
Does it matter tho? It's not even a game of "Who is smarter" at that point.
Congrats
Congrats.
NICE
It does at levels 2000+
At Naroditsky/Tang level 30 second games can be incredibly accurate
what was your rating before?
994
Naroditsky could beat probably 90% of us here with 30 second vs 10 minute odds given premoves are allowed
then you already had 4 digits. just add a 0 infront of it. 0994
(same ideology people who add GM to their chess.com username use)
im 1001 now
welldone 🙂
Some people do that ? Lmao
Yeah
gracias
Up for a game?
