Hey guys, Gimme some ideas for Vhess Variants to program
Chess, but each pawn is from a different variant
like: A pawn is from Atomic. It blows up other pieces except for the opponent's A pawn if it was not a direct capture
B pawn is from Petrified. Anything that captures it turns to stone. It can also move sideways.
C pawn is from Crazyhouse. It can be placed back on the board.
D pawn is from Duck Chess. If it gets taken, you can no longer move the duck. If both D pawns gets taken, the duck disappears.
E pawn is from Spell Chess. It gives you spells, but the spells can only be used on either E pawns. If your E pawn falls, you can no longer cast spells.
F pawn is from Torpedo. It can always move 2 squares forward.
G pawn is from 3 Checks. If it checks the opponent's king just once, it activates the counter for the King, allowing other pieces to finish off the king by just checking it two more times.
H pawn is from Capture Anything. You can capture your own H pawn to escape backrank checkmate. It can also capture your own pieces and other pawns.
