Probably most games are played at lower elo pools but last I checked on the Lichess database there are maybe about 13 games played in the line, specifically played by only one GM whom I can't remember he name. It was the only opening he played in a tournament in 2022 and was able to beat Caruana and either also beat Niemann or drew with him

I lost to scandi today as white. But i also.played scandi as black and theres just as many problems for black aswell. Like white mostly has the initiative in most positions and plenty of tactics are missed in the scandi

Really? Why not? Every year there is a series of tournaments held inside and outside the campus. First you play against players from your own school then move on to municipalities around your area. It keeps going until you reach regionals and then the winners of the regionals will face off against each other

I think the main priority with beginners is making sure they are interested to continue playing more than improving. A lot of the imrpovement just comes from playing and interest

making sure the beginners are entertained and supporting that drive to know more is good imo
