Yes. At first. And a lot of people struggle with that.
But remember. Play for fun and improvement and your rating will follow! Losing is a normal part of the chess game. Unless you are.. not human you will obviously lose some games. No matter how much you improve. The great way to solve the fear of playing is- PLAY MORE.
Eventually you will get used to losing.
When you lose - ask yourself- why did you lose? You played too fast?, ect. And try to fix that. In your next game. Remember improvement is slow and chess is a very hard game .
