When you were originally down a pawn it didn't feel like a trivial win at all because it was hard to make a plan to win that position

Yes, theres are paths. But its just not simple anymore. You can't walk into a place and ask for a job. You need 5 years of experience for an entry level position. Coming out of college, where do you get that experience. AI's probably gonna replace coding in the near term future. Theres just a lot of uncertainties young people face now. Owning a house is out of the picture unless he lands a cush job.

If that same pace continues, then yeah it points to a future where a lot of jobs get automated out of existence. Does it create new jobs entirely? idk, no clue what happens.
