Starting to play rapid games instead of bullet helped me in the understanding. I never go a single game without analyzing its become a routine. Um what helped me get to 1000 was simply learning principles like taking control of center and castling early. When i was playing bullet i was never aware of these principles so youtube chess content has been important for me to 1200 and even 1600. When i was stuck at 1300 i stopped playing chess a few months and focused simply on puzzles 1 hour everyday while i was in the bus or in a waiting line. So basically content+analysis+puzzles helped me the most and even fun content works like i watched gottham chess and chess simp and from time to time they drop useful tips. And usually taking breaks of like one month when i didnt want to play anymore helped me gain insights on the game. But books were trash for me, i dont recommend reading chess books unless you want slow improvement or trying to fix impatience in calculation

Well it's faster so you gotta play faster. I mainly play 3+0 to avoid cheaters and it's my comfort time control than 10+0. Also you need to have a decent tactical awareness since usually many people miss tactics because of how fast blitz is. Instant moves doesn't do any good either. Best to spend your time thinking about the complications on the position and how to deal with it
