yeah when I hit 2k I was happy to be there but I was more focused on being consistently that strong

got a little excited but was more glad at the fact I was maintaining strength so that was what I built on instead of the number

ye this is the next step for you to get better most likely

What helped me was to think of the whole duration of the game as an endgame, so I'm always trying to find good positional moves rather than just random attacks

The only time you can really pull off attacks is if your opponent plays something weird, if your opponent is normal, you need to just play normally

Chess is won through mistakes from one end if the position is equal you can't force it to be at your advantage
