I think if youre truly serious about improvement, and youre doing chess puzzles, you should be writing down your solutions on a notebook/paper. Cuz the biggest mistake ppl make when doing puzzles is playing the first move that comes to mind and not actually calculating the full solutions

from my personal experience (i reached top 100 in other games) talent determines the rate at which you improve and thus most pro players are talented since people who improved fast get rewarded and enjoy it more thus sticking to the hobby more. but once you get to the absolute peak talent becomes irrelevant and it all comes down to hardwork
