There are many good 1.e4 courses. Personally I like Krykun's and Gustafsson's, but both are multi parters.

The single best English single-part opening repertoire, in my opinion, is the GothamChess repertoire. Yes, really.

The ChessDojo one is also pretty good, a bit more standard than GothamChess.

At the end of the day, which one you choose doesn't matter so much. All of these and many other 1.e4 repertoires are good. Just pick any.

Huh? The Pegasus doesn't magically recognize non-electronic pieces.

All of these have some kind of NFC chip in them. If you lose a Pegasus piece, you need to buy a new set. In fact, DGT does not sell individual pieces.
ChessUp 2 does sell individual pieces, for like 10 bucks.

The one problem with it is that it doesn't accept premoves. That seems to have improved a bit, but not by much. So you need to diligently execute the opponent's move before you make yours.

I got the board Christmas 2024. It's my favorite non-full-size board (I also have the Pegasus, eONE, Square Off Pro, and Chessnut Evo), although if any full-size board is an option, I'll definitely prefer that.

Im getting insane luck recently this is like 5 wins that should not be wins at the 1800 level, first I got a guy with the rosseau gambit trap, then a guy accidentally resigned after playing first move instead of aborting, another time a guy resigned because it was m2 but i didnt find it, but by the time i played the move he already resigned, now theres another game where I had m3 but couldnt find and our queens saw eachother in low time but he didnt see it so I took his queen for free. wtf is happening today
