Ohhh, I've been there :p, this rating level games are decided by blunders, and blunders happens due to board vision lack, yk, you can fix that by doing some things, the first one is chess puzzles, try doing like 3 of them before a chess game or on ur free time :3. The 2°- is to actually play alot, this means practice, your brain has to get used to the big chess board :), and the third one, my favorite one there's a black app lichess,they got puzzles for "hanging pieces" this means the web will show u positions in which there are hanging pieces on the board, and u should find and play then, this will help a lot too!

For studying openings don’t get too absorbed thinking only 1 move is correct, for engines sure maybe they prefer certain variants over others but at human level you should try to understand why the other moves can be chosen too
