I mean I guess you could say chess coordinates are related to math. But thats such a stretch. Thats like saying read Harry Potter is related to math because there are "page numbers" in the book. You're not solving any equations or anything math related

Kinda, but youre not thinking about numbers at all when you calculate. Sure, you might be like "hey i have 2 attacks and he has 3 defenders". But even then, I dont even count attackers/defenders when I calculate. I just view the full line to the end and see if im better ot not

Chess coordinates/chess notation exists as a way of saving chess games to view for later. If you knew how the pieces moved, you can still play a chess game without knowing about chess coordinates @rich sun @tepid wigeon

If math is related to chess because of chess notation, it doesnt make sense because chess notation doesnt rly have an effect on the gameplay itself. Its just translating chess moves into a language we understand. But someone who doesnt know chess notation could still play a game of chess
