apparently at +3500 ccrl rating, engines will draw each other most of the time from initial position so the organizers customize an unbalanced position, via shuffling 10-20 moves from regular setup and choose openings with evaluation between ±0.5 and ±1.0

Both engines play each other from the same customized opening, if an engine draws then wins, it's declared winner of that 1 game
